When I arrived in France, I discovered that learning French wasn't only about grammar and vocabulary. What I really needed were the words to order a coffee, make an appointment, find a home, and feel confident in everyday conversations.

After several years of teaching French to newcomers, I created “Living in France” — the method I wish I'd had when I started. Every lesson begins with a real-life situation and gives you the phrases you can use right away.

No endless lists to memorise. You understand, you practise, you reuse. And little by little, French stops being something you study and becomes something you live.
